Zurich, Switzerland, 15 November 2023 - Urgo Medical, a leading  advanced wound care company, and imito AG, a specialist provider of wound care solutions, today announced a partnership to improve wound care. In this context, Urgo Medical launches in its wound app Healico, a new feature called MEASURE using the automatic wound measurement technology, from imito AG, WoundGenius.

WoundGenius is an AI-based Software Developer Kit, that enables fast and accurate wound analysis and measurement. The wound measurement method has been scientifically validated in several studies and the wound analysis is based on a large volume of validated image data. 

The integration of WoundGenius into Healico will enable wound experts and carers to diagnose and treat wounds faster and more accurately. This can lead to improved wound healing and a reduction in wound care costs.
