‘The informative value and quality of our foot documentation has improved immensely thanks to imito.’

As a long-time customer, the diabetes clinic is now expanding its use of imitoCam and imitoScan across the facility. The Head of Medical Controlling shares how imito’s solutions have streamlined wound documentation in the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers.

‘The processes for colleagues when documenting foot treatment have been greatly simplified.’

‘The diabetes clinic has been using both imitoCam and imitoScan for some time now in the foot consultation for the treatment of inpatients with foot wounds.

The main reason for the implementation at that time was the possibility of establishing a user-friendly, precise and hygienic method of wound documentation.

Accurate wound measurement is crucial to ensure we receive reimbursement for our diabetic foot ulcer patients. During audits by regulatory bodies, we can provide comprehensive documentation.’

‘We will now also be implementing imito in other areas of our clinic.’

‘Since then, imito has offered a user-friendly, easy-to-use interface that allows precise measurement without direct wound contact, providing us with detailed documentation both for monitoring progress and as a basis for ICD and OPS coding.

The informative value and quality of our foot documentation has improved immensely thanks to imito and the processes for our colleagues when documenting foot treatment have been greatly simplified.

The direct link to the digital patient file and the use of the existing service mobile phones are further advantages that save time and resources.

We will now also be using imito in other areas of our hospital, e.g. to scan documents for the patient file directly on the ward or during ward rounds and store them there for immediate availability throughout the hospital.’

- A. Ahollinger, Head of Medical Controlling
