Wow, what an incredible three days! We’re back from Berlin and still buzzing from the energy in the exhibition halls. DMEA 2026 has shown once again: digital healthcare is no longer just a vision. It’s happening right now, and we are right at the heart of it!
Here are our personal highlights (and the reason why we’re all still sitting in our home offices with big smiles on our faces):
- Our booth was "the place to be": Hall 2.2 was practically under siege! It was fantastic to see so much enthusiasm for our AI-powered wound documentation and our smart apps for everyday clinical use. Plus, we had salty popcorn in abundance. True to our motto: Keep the salt on the popcorn, not in the wound!
- WoundGenius meets ORBIS U: It’s official! The fact that Dedalus, Europe’s leading HIS provider, is now counting on our solution is a massive milestone for us. Our AI wound analysis is now directly integrated into ORBIS U Nursing. What does that mean? Split-second AI analysis right at the patient's bedside and a seamless workflow. No more tedious manual data entry back at the PC.
- Power Duo with voize: Together with the voize team, we are combining clinically validated wound analysis with leading voice technology. We’re bringing documentation exactly where it’s needed most: directly to the bedside, via voice, without detours. Real relief that reaches nursing staff immediately.
- Networking without the "tie-and-suit" vibe: On Wednesday evening, we popped the corks at our booth event to celebrate our 10th company anniversary. No stiff speeches, just cool people, inspiring vibes, and great conversations over drinks. This is exactly what industry exchange should look like! A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by!
- AI that actually helps: The feedback from visitors confirmed it: AI has arrived in the reality of clinical care. The fact that our solutions tangibly reduce the workload for nurses was the number one topic in our live demos.
- Berlin Spirit: With over 22,000 participants, it felt like we met every second person there. The density of innovation and the collective drive to improve healthcare were palpable this year. A fantastic Berlin finale for DMEA!
