Thirty-two wounds were measured both with a traditional paper ruler and imito's digital wound measurement method. 3 parameters were analysed: wound width, length, and area. For each parameter, the statistical analysis showed that imito's digital technology is reliable.

ImageJ vs. wound measurement app for small wounds - Sharun et al.

Measuring 291 rabbit wounds showed that imitoMeasure consistently had a higher level of agreement with ImageJ than traditional acetate wound tracing - particularly for small and intermediate wounds. imitoMeasure was also the fastest method across all wound sizes, while wound tracing took the longest to process.
